Ciao! Mi chiamo Laura.

My name is Laura, and I look forward to being your guide to Italian language and culture.

I fell in love with Italy while studying abroad in Bologna where you can rest in the shade of the two towers (yes, one of them leaning) and walk under the world’s longest portico to the lovely San Luca sanctuary. My journey has since led me to a Master’s in Teaching Italian Language and Literature from the Università per Stranieri in Siena.

Besides the language, I’ve immersed myself in Italian culture, particularly food, Medieval history, literature, and the immigrant/migrant experience in Italy. Italy has a rich cultural heritage, and I’d love to hear what interests you and how I can help you explore those interests as you develop your language abilities.
